Teddy Travelogues

Just like everyone I love vacation and I strongly believe children add magic to our vacations. As we all know Kids see vacations very differently from adults! Their expectations, their curiosity, and the way they see things creates a unique experience on every vacation. As a mother of twin’s toddler I understand this very well.

As a mom I would like to share some simple tips here which will help all parents who plan a vacation for their kids.

1. Depending on the age of your kids, have each child bring a small backpack filled with their toys and goodies for the flight.

2. Please avoid those really cute pull bags, as inevitably they turn as the child pulls, the baby gets upset, and you end up carrying a very unmanageable bag in addition to your own carry-ones.

3. When possible, load their bags with some of the other things that you need, such as wipes, diapers and bottles. Even very young kids can carry a small backpack filled with their own diapers.
This saves you space in your bag and makes the child feel like a “big” girl or boy.

4. Pack many more diapers than you think you will ever need, and two packs of wipes (one in the main bag, and one that is readily available.)

5. In addition to the main carry-on that will most likely end up overhead, pack one small bag with absolute essentials that will always be with you. Make sure to have enough formula for one bottle, spit up rag, one diaper and a few wipes and one small toy. This way you do not need to search overhead for a diaper change.

6. Make sure ALWAYS bring an extra pair of clothing for all the children and for you as well. Trust me; you do not want to spend the flight covered in vomit or anything else that seems to happen when travelling.

7. Make sure to have plenty of extra plastic bags for soiled clothing and throwing away food and trash during the flight.

Give Your kids a camera

Giving toddlers their own child-friendly camera encourages them to observe their surroundings and focus on what interests them. You might be surprised at the results from their knee-high view.

Precautionary Measures

Even if you have the most well-behaved kids in the world, things happen: Kids wander off, or they get separated from you in a crowd. Whenever you're travelling with kids in an unfamiliar place, it's good to have a go-to procedure in place in case something happens. Be sure to give each child a business card from your hotel so they have local contact information.

Using these simple tips we can make our vacation beautiful and memorable for our kids, Make it wonderful learning experience for your kids, always travel through Club Mahindra.

Rise above fear!

“Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.” By Bill Cosby. Today I read this very inspirational quote about fear. Fear is the root cause of most negative responses, from sniping to jealousy to corporate backstabbing to terrorism. Some people know it as a gnawing, oppressive spectre, forever prowling in the pit of their stomach. Others are more familiar with the fluttering butterfly effect that can keep a person on edge for days on end.  What we all know is that it's ever present, in our homes, our neighbourhoods and our workplaces, slowly diminishing our lives, and hindering many of us from happily living our dreams.

Unwanted or unexpected life changes are a common cause of fear. People fear forces that diminish the sense of control over life – but the bottom line is: each person has the right to accept or reject outer forces as a weapon against personal progress, and each person is blessed with the capacity to react in his or her own way.

Let's face it: If you're human you have most likely experienced a fear of death at one time or another in your life -- or else you may have been in complete denial of your fear and repressing it. That's because the fear of death is normal for us Earthlings -- we have a survival instinct that motivates us to avoid death-inducing situations.

Lets we all try to follow this simple steps to overcome over fear.

1.  Think about it.
2.  Read about it.
3.  Learn about it.
4.  Write about it.
5.  Work with it.
6.  Talk about it.

No matter which approach you choose to help you rise above your fear of, you will benefit a great deal from working through that fear. You will be able to contemplate all of the aspects of life, from birth through death, with less anxiety and you will experience increased peace of mind about all of life's uncertainties.

Analyse fear like a thinker: “Why am I afraid?” You can then either reject fear entirely with laughter at the genuine smallness of the problem within the grander scale of life, or you can take logical steps toward comfort.

Live your life and dreams knowing that some other people won’t understand what you are doing, that struggle is really a way for you to become stronger and that anything is possible when you remember who you really are. Let go of who you are not and dwell in possibility.

My biggest fear was to confront my feelings, Believe me it wasn't easy for me! It was difficult for me to express myself with proper words, Believe me my hands shook pretty hard and my voice shaken more that I am usually comfortable with and I did choke on few or well say many words but I did confront my feelings and I am more than glad, I did make confession and honestly I don’t know if I have claimed victory yet but I am at least somewhere which is better than nowhere and working hard for the things to work out. And I just hope people don’t misunderstand me.

While you readers are all charged up, I want to boost it a bit more with this awesome mountain dew movie.

YES or NO to Pre-Marital Sex

Thinking back to my teenage days, I still remember how taboo the subject of sex was. The forbidden sex talk made the act that much more daring. We gals even not allowed talking to boys. I remember when I sang all the racy lyrics to pop songs and whispered about the three-letter-word whenever I got the chance. There was also something shameful about openly talking about sex – whether marital or premarital.

Premarital sex is morally acceptable because it is no one's business but the couple's. It's a normal and natural desire and to stigmatize it is judgemental and unfair. It doesn't harm anyone outside of the couple and society is changing that marriage isn't necessary any more and it's unrealistic to think there would be millions of abstinent and chaste adults.

This day in age, premarital sex is totally acceptable. Now that being said I'm not advocating going out and sleeping with as many people as possible, but it is absolutely ok to have sex with a person that you care about or are in a committed relationship with. Sex isn't just for reproduction; it can be a totally amazing and satisfying experience under the right circumstances. Human sexuality is big part of relationships and if you don’t experience it how will you ever find what you like? What if you end up marrying a person you are totally not sexually compatible with...?

All people in our society hold different morals. Some morals are influenced by religion, by family and friends, and by personal experience. Personal experience, a lack of trust in religion, and a liberal-minded family life have all led me to believe that there is nothing inherently wrong with premarital sex. In any sexual activity (premarital or marital), one has to be health-conscious and emotionally-conscious in order to have a healthy experience. On another note, not all people want to marry or are legally able to marry, and this should in no way impact their moral right to sexual expression. Sexual expression is a universal need for all people.

With whom a person chooses to engage in sexual relations with should be considered one of the most basic personal liberties. Considering that sex is one of the most intimate forms of contact between persons, it should therefore be subject to no one else's opinions beyond those engaging in the act. Frankly, the reasons so many people have moral issues against premarital sex relate to religious or cultural bias; the institution of marriage itself being religious in nature. In a modern world where we have respect for each other's race, culture, religion, gender, and a host of other aspects of their person, we should also have the utmost respect for their choice of when and with whom they choose to share their physical bodies with. As long as people are of legal age and perform their actions in privacy, what they do and when they do it should be of no consequence to anyone other than themselves.

Kyuki Bin Bole Ab Nahi Chalega #AbMontuBolega

Bring out the Montu in you. There are lot of places that need cleaning, people who deserve your attention who need to hear your opinions also! If we really want to bring the changes in current scenario, don’t be just a silent spectator. Raise your voice loudly and make a difference and bring the change in our life. #AbMontuBolega

Social causes for which we all must come together and speak up, NOW

The art of communication is not mastered by just knowing what to say and how to say it.

A big factor knows when to say it.  So often many people just sit back and say nothing when something really needs to be said. It could be an idea, a suggestion, an observation, a criticism...but for some reason they don't want to speak up.

They may be afraid of hurting the next person, looking foolish or mean or opening a can of worms that will make a mess in everyone's lives.  Sometimes chose to stay silent they think it is the wiser choice.

Speak up Against All Kinds of Sexual Abuse
I don’t want to insert any statistical figures of the cases reported and those which never got reported. Not only women, but we keep witnessing a lot of cases of child abuse. All I want to urge you is, if you happen to witness any, speak up. You could be a savoir. Now is the time we stop hesitating and start taking a stand against this.

Speak Up Against Child Labour
Yes, child labour is illegal in India. But have you not seen young kids working at tea stalls, road side dhaba’s, hotels? Next time when you see a child working, speak up.

Speak Up Against Corruption
Maybe one person initiating this won’t make a difference, but someone has to start this. Yes, we’ll face a lot of problems by not giving bribe but if this is not the correct time to put an end to bribery, I don’t know when it will be the correct time.

Speak Up Against Gender Inequalities
This is not the time where we discriminate people based on their genders, but it is the time where we walk hand in hand towards development. Be it a male or a female, both are supposed to have equal rights. Don’t stop our daughters to grow. Speak up.

This is the fantastic campaign run by http://www.abmontubolega.com/ this contest give all of us a chance to raise our voice against all social problems we all facing in our day to day life.  We know that raising our voices against all that is dirty in our country is a power that we all have. Let’s exercise the power of our voice & work towards a Swach Bharat.

My dream 24K home with Porcelanosa

Ever since I was a child I always dream about having my own beautiful home, where I stay peacefully and read book... Wow just thinking about it makes me so relax. In my family everyone is so much interested interiors. And we wanted to get all the best stuffs for our home. Recently we renovate our kitchen and modified their designs to suit my liking. I am happy with my efforts. Kitchen is very important section in our home, as I love cooking so a well design kitchen is a needful. With interior you can’t satisfy because tomorrow for all that you know you might want something else. So we are taking time to do up our home and I really don’t mind that at all. I like to updating things.

I came across these beautiful home décor and interior products from Porcelanosa which give you that Mediterranean feel. This Spanish organization has been spreading their magical touch in interiors for 40 years and guess what they are now entering Asia with Kolte-Patil Developers for their luxury brand #24KLiving. If you have not checked the project already you should definitely check it out here.

Now if I had to do my interiors with Porcelanosa products I would love redesign a lot of things. Let’s start with my Kitchen. I prefer a counter open kitchen which not only gives a very contemporary look but also enhances the bonding in the family member. This design by Porcelanosa brings out exactly my preference of style a dining space. The asymmetrically-shaped green chairs make the right match for the setup.

My Sista is very good when it comes to color combination, she likes wood work too much and walls painted in silver color for dining room with lamp above the dining table. This combination from Porcelanosa would be perfect.

And the best partner for the shower enclosure can only be the rain shower. I simply love the LED lighting on the shower panel. It would give just the perfect rain shower experience when you want to get soaked. Great job Porcelanosa

I would love to have wooden flooring in my specious master bedroom coz I love dancing and will dance there every day. I would love to have had wooden flooring in the living room area and lounge area as well. It's just picture perfect for the parties and winters. I can see myself dancing on it!

And lastly, how can I forget my love for clothes and shoes. I would ideally want a walk in closet with ample space for clothes. Hanging options for my dresses and formals racks for my woolens and casual How about something like this? It would be just amazing.

Toilet For Babli.....

In simple words Open defecation is the practice of defecating outside or in public.  The open defecation is a big challenge in India. This may be done as a result of mostly having no access to toilets.

The (WHO) World Health Organization and (UNICEF) United Nations Children’s Fund approximate that there are more than 620 million people practising open defecation in the country. Children—already vulnerable and marginalized—pay the highest price in respect of their survival and development. Open defecation is prevalent among all socio-economic groups in rural India though the bottom two wealth quintiles bear the heaviest burden. This well-established traditional behaviour is deeply ingrained through practice from early childhood; it is taught. Other reasons cited for its persistence in India include poverty these people cannot afford toilets, tenants in housing without toilets usually in urban areas, and some deep-rooted cultural and social norms that have established open defecation as an acceptable practice.

India is home to the largest number of children in the world nearly around 500 million Indians are less than 18 years of age. India loses more than 600,000 small children under the age of five year due to pneumonia and diarrhoea. Its almost 30% of the global total. Bacteriological contamination, the absence of toilet-use and sadly poor personal and communal hygiene it including no usual hand-washing with soap at critical times. Exacerbate both of these killers; 88% of diarrhoea deaths are linked to incomplete water and sanitation service provision in our country.

Having a toilet is important for everyone, especially for Girls and Women, its everyone’s basic right access to safe, clean toilets.  Every girl free from the need to defecate in the open, they no longer have to suffer the indignity of verbal and physical abuse or humiliation when relieving themselves. Every day we all read in newspaper that rape and sexual harassment are also a risk for many women who wait until nightfall and seek the privacy of darkness to relieve themselves. Women and girls don’t need toilet facilities just for defecation; they also need privacy and dignity when menstruating. The symptoms of menstruation, pregnancy and the postnatal period become more problematic if women have nowhere to deal with them adequately.

Separate toilets at school mean more girls are likely to attend in the first place, and more girls are likely to stay on after puberty to complete their education. In this way we can encourage more girl child to complete their education. Women place a higher value on access to private sanitation facilities than men but this basic thing often remain unheard. There is a real need for facilities which meet women’s physical and psychological demands and preferences, and these can be readily achieved by including women in the design and placement of these facilities.

You can bring about the change in the lives of millions of kids, thereby showing your support for the Domex Initiative. All you need to do is “click” on the “Contribute Tab” on www.domex.in and Domex will contribute Rs.5 on your behalf to eradicate open defecation, thereby helping kids like Babli live a dignified life.

A Healthy Child Makes a Happy Home...

A Healthy Child Makes a Happy Home... This is 100% true, as a young mom this is my personal experience when my babies feel healthy, have their meal on time with sound sleep, play, laugh our whole family feel happy actually babies have this super power to turn on everyone in the home and make them laugh along with them.

My shourya and Naksh, my twinkle twins are toddler now; this is a very important age of any child when they try to copy everyone around. They repeat what we say what we do. As a parent, we play an important role in the development of our baby’s brain. We are our baby’s most important connection to the world. We interact daily with our baby. These interactions have a life-long effect on our baby’s ability to reach full potential.

We should make a proper plan and routine for our kids this will defiantly help to maintain a good health of babies. Keeping our child healthy it’s not one day job we have to start very early, I would love to say when a mother conceive a baby from there she must take extra care specially about the food which is directly affecting the child development, if mother have a healthy diet, she have it on time this simple practice surprise her in future with a cute healthy baby. Coming into the world is a very big adventure for babies.  They do not know or understand anything. At first they don't know that you are there to comfort them and feed them and care for them. They are learning all the time, and the job of parents is to help them to know that the world is a welcoming place for them to be in, where their needs will be met and they will learn to feel safe and loved.

I still remember my early days of my motherhood, as I have twins I was facing a double problems, regarding feeding the babies, sleepless night.... long list to discuss. I would like to mention one incident about Naksh when he was just 2 month old infant and one night he was crying continuously coz of gas, he was not able to digest his milk, we all my Mom, Dad, my Grandmother and my brother all tried to make him clam down but he was continuously crying, so in the midnight around 2 am we decide to take him to the hospital, my Dad stay at home to take care of Shourya and my Mom and my Bro came with me. As we reach the hospital, Naksh do potty, his stomach feel relax and he stared smiling, and make all of us happy too. This small incident makes me realize that if babies are happy everyone is happy.

Festive Cheers - Shourya and Naksh Celebrating Tanha Pola...

Yesterday it was a Tanha Pola festival. It is one of the big celebrations in our Chandrapur city. Actually in this we have to teach our kids that why we worship bulls, an animal that symbolise hard work.  So my mom and I decide to take Shourya and Naksh and show them this fascinating Tanha Pola celebration.

As we all know Pola is a bull-worshipping festival celebrated by farmers mainly in Maharashtra especially in rural areas of Maharashtra. On the day of Pola, the farmers decorate and worship their bulls with the aim of giving them rest for a day in the entire year. Bulls are also known as farmer’s best friends.

Roads are filled with colours, after a long time I saw my city very colourful. People started gathering to see decorative wood bulls. We have to leave that place soon as my babies not very much comfortable in crowded area. But we all enjoy a lot. Shourya cry for balloon. It’s difficult for me to carry Shourya and balloon at the same time, so he didn't get the balloon.

Here I am sharing some beautiful and colourful pics of Tanha Pola celebration, hope all of you like it.

Happy Father's Day...

My Shourya and Naksh celebrating Father's Day, wish their Daddy with lot of love and a tight hug from both.

I found this wonderful poem of Dad on internet and wanna share with my all readers.

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... Dad

Here sharing some loving moments of Shourya and Naksh with their Dad.

Green Tea For Mom's

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers

I would like to tell all mom's that all of you start having green tea. I personally feel the benefits of it. Just two week back I had started having it every morning, and I feel so much change in my body. I feel more energetic, more stamina. Research proves that Green tea is the healthiest beverage on the planet. It is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body. This includes improved brain function, fat loss, a lower risk of cancer and many other incredible benefits.
Green tea helps to prevents cancer, heart disease and also help in weight loss. Green tea can help increase and even change your metabolism, so you burn more calories from fat. Experts studies show that green tea can also help you keep weight off once you've lost it. I also read in magazine that It burns up belly fat. Research at Tufts University indicates that EGCG in green tea, like other catechise, activate fat-burning genes in the abdomen to speed weight loss by 77 percent. Its a great news for all mom's who fighting everyday to get rid of belly fats.

Other studies have found that green tea is helpful in preventing dental cavities, stress, chronic fatigue, treating skin conditions and improving arthritis by reducing inflammation.

Green tea is considered one of the world's healthiest drinks and contains the highest amount of antioxidants of any tea. The natural chemicals called poly-phenols in tea are what are thought to provide its anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic effects.

I would like to suggest all mom's, If you're breastfeeding a baby or toddler, it's probably fine to have one or two cups of green tea per day, so long as you and your baby don't have any medical conditions that can be exacerbated by caffeine. However, green tea supplements can contain dangerously large amounts of caffeine and could be hazardous to a nursing mom's or her baby. It's best to play it safe by avoiding green tea supplements while you're nursing unless your doctor specifically recommends taking them.

Playdate...

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers

Last couple of month I was thinking about an arranging a play date for Shourya and Naksh. As both were growing up so fast so its a right time both get along with other kids too. But arranging play date for my kids is a very difficult task for me, coz in my neighbour there were no kids. So the first task is search the kids who can play with my kids. I was aware that first play date can arrive with some challenges. Like how to share toys and take turns. How to play nicely. And how to be a good host and a good guest. I remember how my babies would always get wriggly with excitement when they spot another member of the stroller set passing by? No doubt about it, children are born social animals. The problem is, they’re not born with social skills. Practice won’t make play date perfect, but it’ll definitely help get your soon-to-be-social-butterfly’s future of friendships off to the right start.

Summer vacation started and some of our relatives drop in our place along with their kids so I think it was a great idea to arrange first play date for Shourya and Naksh with their new friends Kanishk and Tanay. All four boyes are easy to mange I guess. Thankfully Kanishk and Tanay were elder than my Shourya and Naksh so they easily understand my instruction and play carefully with Shourya and Naksh.

Its very important to monitor the play session and keep watch how your baby play with other kids, share the toys and his space. There is simple protocol to handle my kids when they were with other kids is, let them play free, but I keep a constant watch. When all four boys playing together and screaming, running here and there in the room, I click there pics, take a video to make it memorable.

I usually see in play date parents leave there children all alone to play and they get busy in their chat, they never get involved in kids activities. That's not called a play date, its need to involved completely and keep watch on your kids activities. Play dates is the wonderful way to teach your and develop the social skills of your kids. It may not be rocket science, but handling toddler play dates does have its challenges.

Shourya and Naksh behave really well in their first play date. Doing lot of masti, having lots of fun with friends. I click some wonderful pics. Both love their new friends Kanishk and Tanay. Soon we plan the next play date.

Just For Laugh

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers
To I read this quote and liked it so much and wanna share this with my readers. And also also share this wonderful video. And I hope you all also enjoy a lot like I do.

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Mango Time....

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers
“I LOVE MANGO”. Everything comes in this statement.Title sound really very tempting. I am proudly accepting this that I love mango fruit very much. Mango filled my childhood with very beautiful memories. I still remember how my grand father we three used to call him "PAPPA" brought mango for us, teach us how to make a juice out of it, how we all brother and sister use to enjoy mangoes and learn how to make a mango juice called “Aamras” from “Pappa”. Ohh how badly I want to go back to my childhood I can't explain in few words, those were really a golden days of my life. Today I miss PAPPA so much. I know His love and blessing are always with us.

I remember in my childhood mom once take all of us to my Badi Mummy’s place for summer vacation, its small village in Bhandara District called Sukdi, were my Bade Baba and badi mummy stays. He was a farmer and have mango tree garden were we all enjoy fresh mangos. We were stay there for a week, every morning my Bade Baba take us to the farm, were so many mango trees filled with green and yellow mangos. I remember the sweet and fresh smell of those mangos, it make me very nostalgic. Last month we lost our Bade Baba, its a big shock for whole family. I remember his smiling and content face, is hard working and positive attitude toward life.

Last year in summer my babies were 9 month old and I stared to feed him with some solid food including fruit juice. Both Shourya and Naksh loves mango like me and enjoy mango juice. I use to give them mango juice daily, sometimes twice in a day. I wanna tell this to all mom’s that mango juice is very good for babies health, it will help to gain weight and babies enjoys its taste too. Its a wholesome baby food. Mango rich with vitamin A,C,K,E and rich source of potassium.

I am planning to start a new page about baby food recipes in my blog. Now working on it. Need all my readers wishes. Thanks.
