Apno Ko Apne Dum Pe Jeena Sikhao

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it”. This quote expresses what exactly my grandmother and my mother teach me. What I am today it’s all credits goes to these lady of my life. Both had seen very tough time in their life, but they never give up, always hopeful for good future.

In our generation we always talking about negative thoughts and positive thoughts, but at the time of our grandparents, they were truly amazing, they just think positive, whatever situation come in front of them. These innocent peoples don’t know what negative thinking is. I am blessed with wonderful grandparents; they rise up us with their love and affection.

I always remember my grandmother always told this story and tell all of us that “One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching”. I would dedicate all my success and achievement in my life till date to my family members who have given me immense love, support and motivation at different phases of my life.

As a kid, I was very naughty and was not at all interested in studies. It’s my grandmother’s wish that me and my sister must go to school, complete our education and go for higher studies. My grandmother was very intelligent women but just because she was a girl she was denied her right of education, she was never been in school. But her lust for acquiring knowledge, she tries to learn from her siblings. As time passes she also joins adult school. I was started my school at the age of 1 year, my grandmother took me to the school. She always encourages me for studies, and other cultural activities. There were times when I join Kathak classes not perform well, I felt disappointed and depressed because my hard work was not giving me the desired results. But my grandmother and my mother would always support me. Everyday my grandmother drops me to the Kathak classes and she waited for me outside till the class end. My mother taught me to be honest and gave me confidence to overcome my fear of stage and make me feel relax to perform in front of public.

My mother taught me "Determination is your biggest asset". I feel all credit goes to my grandmother and my mother for understanding me and guiding me step by step through tough times and supporting me till date. Today I am pursuing my graduation in classical dance Kathak. I want to dedicate my degree to my grandmother and my mother. These two wonderful lady are my true mentor, who teach us Apno Ko Apne Dum Pe Jeena Sikhao And I wish her a long life so that she stays with me forever.

Get a better Car with Quikr NXT!

I bought my first car after started working, it was a Maruti Alto. I love my car and I travel to my office in Maruti Alto. Initially the car was working very smoothly and I was very satisfied with my car but with the time, my car has become old and also facing many problems. I was using it from last 8 years. So many times there were situations when my car had broken down in the middle of the road. As a girl handling such situation is bit a difficult. I also spent huge amount for repairing my car, my mechanics have also suggested me to buy a new car coz the maintenance of my car was out of my budget.  I contacted the local used car dealer, and told him that I want to sell my old car and buy a new used car. I have clearly told him my requirements which my current car not fulfil.  I want a car which should be more spacious and gives better mileage.  One of my friend suggest me to check online, she told me now a days, there are variety of cars available on Quikr NXT.  This is the easiest way to choose a car for myself and replace my existing car, instead of going to local used car dealer.

When I check the website there are too many options, I just go crazy to see all those cars comes under my budget. If I were to choose a better car from Quikr NXT as compared to my existing car, I would not think twice. Quikr is the best place to buy second hand products as all the items available on the site are 100% genuine. There are certain factors which I would keep in mind to buy a car:

1.Location : Seller should reside in the same city. I would check the location of the seller. The seller should be stay nearby my place.
2. Car Status : For me outer look is very important factor, I would check the colour. The colour should be elegant and matches my personality. There are many other factors which are also important like details of its owner, kilometre driven, date of the purchase of the car, model number, and vehicle insurance.
3.Car Condition:  I would also check the previous history of the car, like how many people used to drive it. Current condition of the car and if it satisfies all my need, I would defiantly buy the car.

How I always wished for a neat and fair place where people like me could personally meet people with similar interests and make the fair deal without an intermediary like a dealer who only interested in their commission. Quikr NXT is such a wonderful online portal where I am now sell my old stuff and buy as per my requirement. I always prefer Quikr NXT for buying things as it is the most reliable site and it has also got some extraordinary Chat features.

Bedtime Rituals

After being a mom I actually learn to value sleep. I am blessed with the twin’s boys Shourya and Naksh. When I was pregnant who ever come to see me give me advice regarding bed time rituals of babies, some people sounds really scary they sounds like a nightmare. Eventually when I have my twins, I learn lot of things from my own experience, since then my only advice to all young moms is every baby is different and his bedtime habits are also different, as a mother we have to recognise it and apply it to make our child comfortable and sleepy.

I am a mother of fraternal twins; both of my son’s are different from each other so their sleep time is also different, so I have to apply two different bedtime rituals with each one. I am still struggling to find out what is the best thing for my babies to have a sound sleep. Sleep can be an emotional issue for the whole family. Kids are so energetic and at the time of night they are supercharged they want to continue the fun. They want to play with their parents. They may also have some fears about being alone in the dark room or away from loved ones.

Here I am sharing Bedtime Rituals that work for me.

Brush teeth: I used to brush my babies teeth before going to bed. It’s important to start the tooth brushing habit as early as possible, so your baby gets used to it. But over time it will also help to send your body "go to sleep" signals. This is very basic thing all parents can do for their babies’ oral health.

Bath: A warm bath is very helpful to make babies relaxed. This is summer time so I used to do this every night. Change the diaper and wear them new Pampers Baby Dry Pants. Babies feel very comfortable in this new dry pants.

Say goodnight: Teach your babies to say “Good Night” to each other, the stars, the moon, and the teddy bear -- let your child lead the way.

Keep activity low-key. Don't over stimulate your baby right before bedtime. Removing toys will be a strong signal for babies and they have to understand that it's time to quiet down.

Lullaby: Sing or hum your babies’ favourite lullaby.  Or read a favourite book. This method is very helpful for all moms. Music actually works magical. It’s really working within a few minutes.

Always be flexible with your kids. If your child is sick or going through a stressful time, it's perfectly okay to bend the bedtime rules a little. For instance, a gentle back rub or you might want to read one extra story. Just be with your kids till sound sleep.

These are my bedtime rituals that take place every night in my home. Each of these contribute their part in helping my Shourya and Naksh to have a good sleep and wake up with a fresh mind and mood and spreads love and smiles in our lives.

Befikar Umar Bhar! Live The Life You Have Always Dreamed Of!

I want to share a famous quote of George Bernard Shaw, “Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself”. My life is a mixture of so many goals and aspirations. People who love me know that I am a person who loves to dream and passionately follow my dreams. I have many dreams. There are so many things which I want to accomplish before I die.

Some people thinks, life is just all about struggling, they also say life is unpredictable for them. These types of people spend their whole life worrying about their family problems, health issues and financial problems. These people think so negative they just don’t know how to spend their life in a positive way.

I love my life very much; God blessed me with adorable twin’s boys, my parents, my bro, and my sista, a loving and caring hubby. What else a one can ask for. I am a dreamer; I believe that I can only achieve my dreams if I live my life tension free and without any constraints. #BefikarUmarBhar

Five wishes which would stack my bucket and they are:

Want to visit my dream places: My friends call me backpacker. I love travelling. I strongly believe travelling is the biggest favour we can do for ours self. I want to travel the world. I want to visit USA, Europe, Africa, Dubai, France; Germany the list is very long. But I want to take my kids to Disney Land, Japan. It’s my dream to take my Shourya and Naksh there. I want to travel the whole world with my kids.

Want to learn photography: I am not exaggerating myself but I am having very photogenic face. I love to get photographed. And I also love to capture all the beautiful moments with my camera. It’s my childhood dream to learn photography. I would like learn professional photography.  If I ever get a chance to be a photographer, I would love do that without even thinking twice.

Want to be Kathak Dancer: I love classical dance, if in my childhood my parents support me and encourage me for dance, I would defiantly choose dance as a career, nothing else only dance. I love kathak very much, it’s very feminine dance, and it’s very graceful. When you do it it’s changes your personality completely. Kathak Dance is like meditation for me.

Want to write a book: I am a blogger by choice, and my dream is to write a book. I have one beautiful subject in my mind, still working on it. I hope one day I will fulfill my dream and all my readers liked it and appreciate my hard work.

Want to work for Woman Power: I am proud to a woman. As per this famous quote “Women are made to be loved, not understood”. Women want love and support from their families and society. My dream is I want to do something for woman empowerment. I want to see all women are financially independent. They can get equal opportunity for pursuing studies, for jobs.

Well, these are very few of my wishes I would like to see come true, if I get a chance to live #BefikarUmarBhar. What are your plans?
