Wind Chimes ......

Recently I visited a craft mela at Chandrapur on Dikshabhumi Ground, this fair is filled with lots of colourful stalls of various daily needs items and handicrafts, antiques. I just love this types of craft exhibitions. Since a long time I was planning to buy a wind chimes for Shourya and Naksh room as both loves music a lot and I guess the soothing sound of wind chimes good for them so I bought a very beautiful wind chimes from there, it has very beautiful butterfly design, with antique look, its sound is really melodious. Here I am share its pic, hope all of you liked it.

Shopping for Diwali….

Shopping for Diwali is always very special for me even more than Diwali. It’s feel very nostalgic when I remember my childhood Diwali shopping, how my mom use to take me , my sis and my brother to the chandrapur Gol Bazar, one of the market place where we use to go, how “Pappa” my grandfather bought crakers for all of us when we were kid, and it distribute equally among all three of us. Oh God…. I want to go back to my childhood again…..

My mom bought Diya’s for Diwali decoration and me and my younger sis used to paint and decorate it with glass and some other decorative items. It’s complete fun, you never forget how you play with color in your childhood.

On Diwali night we lighten our house with all Diya’s which we painted, then my sis draw rangoli then we do puja and me and my sister visited our neighbor place take their blessing and give them prasad.That time we used to celebrate diwali for complete 5 days.

This year its very simple diwali as Shourya and Naksha are very young and sound of crackers also not good for babies.Soon my sister is getting married may be next year she will celebrate this festival with her own family.its very emotional time for all of us.But this year also whenever I get time I go for shopping with her.with time we grow up our priority changes but the love and bonding we share in our childhood which remain in our heart forever .

I believe my Shourya and Naksh share the same bonding with each other and when they grow up they will have very strong brotherhood feeling.

Fun with Dadda...

When ever Jay come to meet all of us at Chandrapur he spend all his time with kids. Shourya and Naksh love his company, I know and understand coz of busy schedule he is not able to spend much time with babies but as he free from his work he is only Daddy and I love this quality of Jay a lot.

Jay say this is his moment to reconnect with Shourya and Naksh. Jay told me that as a dad, he constantly feel torn between needing to be a strict "Tiger Dad" vs. wanting to be a "fun dad." On the one hand, I have a responsibility to protect my kids and teach them the right life skills. On the other hand, I want to have close bonds with them, to share in their lives, and not to be the bad guy all the time. This is what fatherhood is....

When Jay was here he take shourya and Naksh for long long for every morning and evening, both enjoys it lot and now ask me for the same. Well like a Jay we all me and my Shourya and Naksh miss his dad a lot.

Jay say the key to fun together, I found, isn't in trying to be the perfect dad for my sons--it's in just being their dad.

Family Lunch....

Just had a wonderful family lunch. Actually we planning this family lunch from long time, few days back it was cancelled because Shourya and Naksh was not well, then my hubby cancelled his trip due to heavy rain in Chandrapur, then my brother Manas was busy then it was delay again, then my sis Shweta coming for rakhi so we again decide to go for lunch with some very close family friends. We went to the Veg Junction Restaurant near Warrora Naka square, Chandrapur.

I call my friends Anand, Amol, Renu, Maria, Namarata, Akanksha, Parul, Lakshmi, Ankush, Karan, Nikhil, Gaurav and we all family member Mom, Dad, my sis Shweta, my brother Manas, me and my two angel Shourya and Naksh.

Veg Junction Restaurant is really very nice and posh place to hangout. We decided to go for lunch as rain is continued in Chandrapur, but as we reach the restaurant rain started and all my friends came late till the time we ordered snacks. Till the time Shourya and Naksh was quite a good boys. My babies like the ambiance. After one hour all my friends comes, Naksh was not so comfortable with new faces, his cranky behavior was on top and the other hand Shourya was quite for some time but as my friends close to him he also started crying. So I hold him and started walking in the restaurant to make him calm down.  Sometimes it’s difficult to handle small babies at public places. We have to make them calm down and assure them that they are secure.

All my friends brought lots of gifts and flowers for Shourya and Naksh. My brother Manas order food for everyone. I can see everyone’s smiling faces, some friends cracking jocks, all the girls talking about makeup, dresses, nail arts and other girly topics. My brother Manas clicks the pictures. I also want to sit with them but because of babies can’t really do it, and then also I enjoy a lot. This lunch is most memorable and special lunch for me. I never forget it. Thanks a tan’s to my all wonderful friends because of them lunch was so special. I miss my hubby a lot. Once again Thanks everyone for coming.

Rainy Rainy Days.....

This year there is a heavy rain all over Maharashtra, flood situation in so many districts, and our city, “CHANDRAPUR” was also not the exception, we also facing this problem. On 19th July 2013 cloud burst in the afternoon. It was Friday, I, my mom, my aaji and my two little twins was at home, Dad was in his bank and my brother Manas was in his college. It was very heavy rain which I ever seen in my life. Fortunately our house is quite on high so we all were safe, but rain water was going inside to some of our neighbor houses. Those people facing lot of problem.

Well apart from that me and my babies Shourya and Naksh actually enjoy the rain and lightning too. They laugh a lot and after that had a sound sleep. I also click some pics of this unforgettable moment.  I, mom and my aaji are worried about my dad and my brother. As there is a heavy rain outside and we just think how both of them reach home, as all the roads are filled with water. But unexpectedly the rain was stopped within the 3 hour and slowly slowly all the roads were clear. One scary thing happen that day my brother Manas came home in that heavy rain by driving his bike, it’s really very risky coz water level on road is up to 5’5 feet, when he sit on his bike, the was completely under water, he is not able to see his bike. This is very risky stunt he has done, we all scold him a lot and tell him not to do this again. It’s a God grace nothing will happen to him.

And other side my Dad, his bank also filled with water, our one and only car was also filled with water tills the half of tiers. Dad’s bank was shut down in afternoon as rain water was every were, but all the employee has to wait inside the bank only as there is 4 feet water on the roads. So all of them decided to do “Pakoda Party”. We all have learned how to enjoy in difficult situation.

So Dad reached home in the evening around 5.30 to 6 pm. I am very thankful to God that my family was safe. Well we all can say this that all well that ends well.
